And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. VI. Grumbling: The Quail
*Grumbling because of appetite while under the influence of the mixt multitude from Egypt
*Ridiculing the manna God gave them to eat was a sign of DISRESPECT showing a dark side of self rooted in pride for they thought they knew better what they should eat in the wilderness than almighty God
*God gives them the flesh (quail) they desire
*They pay the price for uncontrolled appetite
And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

VII. Murmuring: Miriam and Aaron
*Even the sister and brother (as well as High Priest) of Moses had hearts susceptible to grumbling

*The Sabbath is the only Commandment that begins with the word "Remember" and "Blue" was to be worn to Remember God's Commandments---Remember, Remember, Remember to OBEY

XI. Korah's Rebellion
*Pride, Defiance and Consequences of challenging God's authority and appointed leaders
*Korah covets the Leadership position of Moses and High Priest position of Aaron just as Lucifer desired Christ's place in Heaven and starts a rebellion among to host of Israel as Lucifer did among the angelic host of heaven

XIII. Ordinance of the Red Heifer
*Symbolism: As the Red Heifer was totally consumed for the sins of the people so too would Christ be totally consumed without the camp--(outside of Jerusalem)
For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto Him without the camp, bearing His reproach.

*Christ is the Smitten Rock from which flows our Living Water

*Just as Lucifer would fail in his 3 Temptations of Christ in the Wilderness so too would Moab, via Balaam, fail in 3 attempts to Curse Israel in the Wilderness
And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
